Passionate about her faith and walking it out at work, author Shari J. Harris exudes the hope and encouragement she has written about in her book, Walking in Faith: Stories of Hope and Encouragement for the Workplace. Walking in Faith is a collection of real stories written to encourage readers to be their authentic self.

This conference speaker, leader, and woman of strong faith challenges and inspires others to be courageous followers of Christ in the marketplace. Shari speaks to audiences of all sizes and has presented at events such as the Minnesota Prayer Breakfast, Northwestern College Set-Apart Women’s Conference, and CBMC Strategic Summit for Kingdom Business Leaders.

Shari works in Corporate Human Resources at a Fortune 500 medical device manufacturer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, specializing in change management. Shari has completed GE’s Master Change Manager (MCM) certification for Change Acceleration Process (CAP). She is Learning and Development Training Specialist facilitating training and coaching leaders.

On the leadership team of the Christian group in her workplace since 2003, she has held various positions including Chairperson.  She has played key roles including ministry launch. Shari’s current role as Program Manager, Marketplace Ministries has her interacting with the local and national faith community, consulting with organizations who desire to start workplace Christian groups and small business owners who have a heart to be more Christ-centered.

Shari is a Marketplace Chaplain with Marketplace Chaplains, USA, committed to helping and encouraging others in the workplace.

Shari is a past board member in the Assemblies of God Church and leads small groups in both in her workplace and her church. She writes for Bridging the Gap Women’s Ministries and has written for WorkPlace Influence. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an Associate of Arts and Bible from Northwestern College, Roseville, MN.

Shari has been featured in articles in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, the Minnesota Christian Examiner and ABC Newspapers. She has been on national radio programs, from Sacramento to Albany.
