The Faith Radio staff will be inviting you to call 877-933-2484 on Wednesday, May 22 during our live shows with Carmen LaBerge, Susie Larson, and Bill Arnold. We would love to pray with you in person for whatever is on your heart.

Prayer is a gift. A direct line of communication with God our maker. We all have different seasons in our life, and we invite you to lean in and talk to God about what you are currently experiencing.  Below is a short video from Carmen as well as some Scripture verses that you can pray in different circumstances.

When you are afraid, pray Psalm 27:1.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”—Psalm 27:1

Lord, you know my heart and You know the fears that hold me captive in my own mind. You know the things that I’m struggling to let go of that are causing anxiety. Help me to let go of these cares and trust You.

When you need guidance from God, pray Psalm 25:4.

“Show me Your ways, Lord, teach me Your paths.”—Psalm 25:4

Lord, thank You that you continue to reveal Your ways to me. Guide me on Your path through Your Word and the Holy Spirit.

When you are sad or brokenhearted, pray Psalm 34:17-18.

“The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”—Psalm 34:17-18

God, I’m coming to You in my pain. You know my grief, loss, sorrow, and failures, yet You promise to stay close. Thank You for being my source of comfort and healing.

When you need to feel God’s protection, pray Psalm 91:1-2.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”—Psalm 91:1-2

God, You are my safe place. I come to You feeling vulnerable and anxious about the things going on around me. I know You are my shelter and my strength. Help me to grab ahold of that truth and believe it deep down in my soul.
