In 1 Corinthians 11:1, Paul says, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” One of the many things I appreciate about Pastor Marcio is that he leads by example. He fears God, takes His Word as truth to live by, and sincerely loves others with the love of Jesus. Pastor Marcio shows us how to follow Jesus in the way he prays, how he is a servant to others, and how he welcomes new people. He loves his congregation very much and is always looking out for our best interests. You can see that in how he prepares and delivers his messages. Holy Spirit speaks to us through Pastor Marcio by teaching us how to truly be disciples and obey Jesus’ commands. Pastor Marcio is also a wonderful example and advocate for the children in Madison. He wants the children to succeed and develop their God given talents and gifts. He cries out for them in prayer, word, and deed. He is a godly man, is surrendered to Christ as a living sacrifice, and helps others to experience God’s love.
