“Transparent” is the word most people use to describe Ruth Graham, Founder and President of Ruth Graham & Friends. I was blessed to travel with Ruth as a conference team member for many years, and she was also kind to write the Foreword for my book .
Ruth is the third child of Rev. Billy Graham and his wife Ruth Bell Graham. She founded the Ruth Graham & Friends Ministry in 2006. Ruth is an experienced conference speaker and Bible teacher. She is also a frequent guest speaker – and interview subject – in the news media. She has appeared on a variety of radio and television shows including: Good Morning, America, The Hour of Power, Focus on the Family, Moody Broadcasting, Fox & Friends, CBN, Life Today and CNN.
She seeks to minister God’s grace and restoration to those who feel marginalized within the church and to better equip churches themselves to address the needs of the hurting in their midst.
Ruth is the author of several books, including the award-winning Step into the Bible. Most pertinent to her ministry is her book In Every Pew Sits A Broken Heart, in which she demonstrates her heart for those who face life’s difficult challenges.
In her book Ruth shared the journey of unplanned pregnancy with her teenage daughter, helping parents of pregnant teens think through the crucial role they can play in helping find the right course. Ruth also writes a blog for beliefnet.
