Ray Hollenbach is a husband, a father, a writer, a (former) pastor, a businessman, and a student of Jesus (which is the title of his blog!). Ray has written about faith and culture for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, ChurchLeaders.com, SermonCentral.com, Relevant Magazine, and Collide Magazine. He currently lives among the irenic hills of central Kentucky, which are filled with faith and culture.
Ray has a Master’s degree in theology from Campbellsville University, and a degree in communications from Illinois State University. He has worked as an adjunct instructor at Campbellsville University. He is the author of The Impossible Mentor, a book on the foundations of discipleship. His other work includes smaller devotionals for various seasons, 50 Forgotten Days and 25 Day of Christmas. He also has a small collection of very short stories addressing spiritual themes, The Man with All the Answers (and other spiritual stories).
Ray originally was Chicagoan, now successfully transplanted into the South. After 15 years in a pastoral role at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Campbellsville, Kentucky, he now travels and speaks on issues of personal spiritual growth and discipleship.
