Sam Storms says we can enhance intimacy with God by welcoming the gifts of the Holy Spirit into our lives. He says that we often fall into the trap of shunning or rejecting the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives because we don’t understand how it works and because we’ve seen excesses in the lives of others as well. He says it’s important to welcome the Holy Spirit into our lives because He will not force Himself on us.
