Do you feel sluggish and foggy, both physically and mentally?

Many of us know we could be more healthy. We might even pray and ask God to help us be more healthy. However, how often do we actually try to do something about it?

Cherie Calbom shares how we can cleanse and revitalize our bodies the healthy way. She says the first thing we must do is commit to doing our part.

“There’s great hope, if we pray, believe, and do our part. That’s where my message is strong. We must do our part. We can pray, believe and trust God and He is so faithful to His Word and sometimes, people are just miraculously healed and they don’t do anything, but so often now I’m finding people who are praying and they haven’t been healed and they need to do something. When they partner with God amazing things happen. It’s like the efforts are sped up.”

If we want to be well, we must get up off our proverbial mat and partner with God to achieve wellness.

While this might not be appropriate for everyone, Cherie began her own journey by detoxing her body by only drinking homemade vegetable and fruit juices.

While we are on the journey of healing, Cherie says sometimes it will seem as though things are only getting worse.

“There were days where I felt worse, and that can be discouraging. What I had to realize was that my body was detoxing, and back then, people weren’t really talking about detox reactions.”

Despite the detox reaction symptoms she was having, Cherie knew she had chosen something good.

“How can you go wrong on fresh vegetables? I just knew that I couldn’t. Even though I felt terrible and there were days when I fainted, I woke up one morning and thought ‘wow, somebody gave me a new body in the middle of the night.’ I had energy, there was color in my face, my eyes were sparkling. All along, my body was healing; it just took me a while to come to that moment of outward realization.  That’s what the healing process is all about. We go on a journey and we don’t ditch the journey because we don’t get immediate results. We have to stick with it and not give up because we are doing the right thing.”

It’s important to ask God what He would have us do to live a healthier lifestyle. However, when we do hear from Him we must be prepared to act.
