Do you believe that God is a creator God who has creative power today?

We serve a God who knows how to restore marriages in His own, unique way. Dr. Kenworthy encourages couples to allow God’s creativity to flow in and through their marriage.

“Would you commit with me to pray that God would give you a creative solution to your marriage issue and trust that He can do that? I’ve got hundreds of stories of how God has amazed me and what He has done as we have prayed in difficult situations and seen God intervene.”

Are you willing to apply the principles of God’s Word, the Bible, to your life and to your marriage?

While we would all say we believe in the Bible, Dr. Kenworthy points out that many of us aren’t willing to apply what it says to our lives. The same is true for couples who find themselves in place of hopelessness. We can glean insight from the book of Ephesians.

“In chapter 1 Paul asked us to pray,

‘I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people,’ (Ephesians 1:18)

“In chapter 3 there is a second prayer. Paul says,

I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.’ (Ephesians 3:16-19

This passage leads us into the third question.

Would you be willing to pray that the Spirit of God give you the power, the hope, and the riches that you currently don’t have?

“If you will, as husband and wife, say ‘yes’ to all three questions, then I will guarantee God’s going to save your marriage. People say, ‘Wait a minute, George, how can you do that?’ Well it’s not me that’s doing it. This is what I see the Bible says.”

There is hope for your marriage when you lay down your own pride and idols, and allow God to be the ruler and perfecter of your lives and marriages.
