Dr. Brendan Sweetman, a native of Dublin, Ireland, is Professor of Philosophy at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.
He is the author or editor of nine books and has published more than eighty articles and reviews in a variety of journals, collections and reference works.
Dr. Sweetman has been a Visiting Scholar and Keynote speaker at many universities and colleges in the U.S. and around the world.
He writes regularly in the areas of philosophy of religion, continental philosophy, political philosophy and moral philosophy.
