Because of the grips of addiction, we can go through life hurting the people closest to us and all the while not even be aware of it. Until the conviction of the Holy Spirit hits, the tears may not come. When Crosby was put into a place where he had to wrestle with the why questions, he then began to understand how badly he needed a personal relationship with Jesus.
