Every choice is a springboard, a chance to move closer to God and others or move away. Listen as prayer warrior Jennifer Kennedy Dean returns to talk about the power and impact of our choices, no matter how small they may seem at the time.

Why does God treasure small things? Jennifer explains.

“A mountain is big, but it’s really billions of little molecules. It changed my perspective to think deliberately. Everything big is made up of things that are small.”

Choosing to obey God and know Him little by little on a daily basis builds a firm but invisible foundation of faith. Over time, our faith grows, our knowledge grows, and our ability to carry our calling grows.

Jennifer goes more in depth to explain the importance of small decisions.

• Choosing between responding in the flesh or responding in the Spirit.

• Why we shouldn’t despise the days of small beginnings.

• How to respond with trust and humility when God prunes our lives.

• What we can learn from the life of Gideon.

• How God’s small provisions and joys prepared and guarded Jennifer as she went through the sudden death of her husband.

• Why Jesus used a mustard seed to demonstrate the power of faith in Him.

• The power of our words to build up or tear down.

Small compromises in our lives can build to larger issues. Jennifer cautions us to watch our lives carefully and guard against the temptation to “change the rules.”

“Just like faith and trust is built small obedience by small obediences, the falling away also starts with small disobedience. Whether you’re ever a headline or not, losing that intimacy with the Lord is not worth any small disobedience.”
