Paul Stanley is the political opinion page editor for The Christian Post, an online Christian news source based inWashington, D.C.

Prior to beginning his career in journalism, Paul was elected to the Tennessee legislature. He served in the Tennessee State Senate from 2007-2009 and in the House of Representatives from 2001-2006. He also worked in the financial services industry for many years as a wealth advisor and public finance banker.

Before holding public office, Paul built an extensive political resume, having served as a staffer for U.S. Senator Bill Frist and held numerous appointed, elected and campaign positions.

He is a native Tennessean and grew up in the small, scenic town of Savannah. When he is not editing The Wonk Room, he is busy working on an upcoming memoir and attending his children’s activities.

Paul has two wonderful children and spends what spare time he has playing tennis and reading.
