January is Sanctity of Human Life month. Current stats show that 1 in 3 women will have an abortion by age 45. Many women facing a crisis pregnancy feel as though they have no option other then abortion.
January’s Ministry Spotlight, New Life Family Services, is committed to helping those facing pregnancy-related situations and circumstances. By providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support, they empower women to choose between adoption and parenting.
“Our vision is to one day reach all abortion-minded and abortion-vulnerable individuals throughout Minnesota with comprehensive pregnancy-related services and the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
Along with providing pregnancy services for women in crisis. New Life Family Services actively helps women heal from past abortions.
“Often as churches talk about abortion during January, it can be very difficult for those who have had past abortions and have not yet healed.”
Their post-abortion program, Conquerors, is a resource for those who need healing and forgiveness.
Prayer requests
Join us in praying for those who are facing an unplanned pregnancy and feel like abortion is their only option.
It is also important for Christians to be in prayer that the heart’s of the abortion doctors are softened and truth to be revealed.
Pray for the birth parents who are making adoption plans – for peace and courage for them in moving forward with their plans and for strong support and peace as they grieve through the process.
And finally, pray for the adoptive families who are waiting. May they have patience and faith in God’s perfect timing.

New Life Family Services seeks to provide new moms with the supplies they need. You can donating diapers, especially larger sizes, and wipes for clients in their parenting program. They also accept used baby clothes up to size 3T and maternity clothing.

If you live in the Twin Cities area consider volunteering in one of their many support roles. If you are outside of the Twin Cities, consider volunteering at a local pregnancy crisis center.
