Single moms are champions of today—working day in and day out to provide for their children and love them well.
But who is investing into these women? Of the approximated 19,000,000 million single moms in America, over 94% are unchurched.
It’s time to get involved in showing care and support to the sisters around us. That is why our Ministry Spotlight, Bridging the Gap, is hosting the Dare to Dream Single Moms Retreat.
Through biblical teaching, relaxation, and lots of fun, our mission is to give single moms an opportunity to be wrapped in the loving arms of the Father and dream BIG dreams that only He can fulfill.
Dare to Dream: Single Moms Retreat
When: June 2-3, 2017
Where: Lake Geneva Christian Center in Alexandria, MN
What: A retreat featuring biblical teaching from Renee Clanton, Brenda Engelking, and Kristie Kerr, worship with Jeff and Kristie Kerr, and breakout sessions addressing the topics of finances, grief, boundaries, peace, kids and God, overcoming depression, writing your story, stress management, healthy cooking on a budget, self-defense, and protecting kids from the internet.
Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy a free personal shopping experience, spa, car checkups, the Girls Night Out party, and other great giveaways, Bridging the Gap hopes for single moms to go home feeling loved, pampered, and renewed!
