Singer-songwriter Chris August grew up in a home that was broken by divorce. He carried those memories with him when writing the song , off his album .
“I can tell you that God will restore you and at the end of the day all will be restored. That is when the full healing comes.”
No one is too broken or too far from God to experience His restoration.
“When you ask Him to restore you, He will do it no matter how many marriages you’ve had, or you want to make sure He’s writing the first one.”
Marriage is one of the most challenging things God will ever call us to. But when the relationship is strained or even broken, He can heal you if you seek Him. Chris reflects on that message in the lyrics of this song.
