Lindsey Wheeler is a gift giver who loves searching for the perfect present. Lindsey’s heart is formed around a deep compassion for those who are hurting. Lindsey herself is no stranger to suffering. Lindsey has been battling Lyme disease for more than ten years and lives in daily expectation that God will one day heal her completely. Therefore Lindsey’s favorite verse is Proverbs 14:13 “Even in laughter the heart may ache and the end of joy may be grief.” She has a deep appreciation for how the best moments and the toughest moments go hand in hand this side of heaven.

Lindsey founded Bottle of Tears after asking God how she could continue to invest in the comfort of others while unable to leave her house due to her chronic illness.  Bottle of Tears is a online shop full of curated gifts of hope. Inside each gift Lindsey includes Psalm 56:8, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” Lindsey wants people to know that, “You are not alone. There is purpose in your pain. God sees you. God loves you, and your story is not over.”

Lindsey grew up in Little Rock AR and graduated from the University of Arkansas.  Lindsey now lives with her husband Chris and their daughter Eliana in Franklin, TN.
