Brace Helgeson grew up in a performance-driven family and the reality of that sent ripples throughout his entire life. Brace took after his father’s lifestyle, and performance and success became his idol. His entire identity was wrapped up in his achievements and his need for success drove his every move.

Brace endured through several “wake up calls” from God – the loss of a child, a cancer diagnosis, the loss of a business and the end of a marriage.  After trying to find the why behind the what to all of these trials on his own, he started to turn to Jesus for answers. Simply put, suffering got a hold of Brace in a way nothing else could – and it completely changed his life.
