Jackson Dunn is the director of Marriage and Family Formation at Focus on the Family where he oversees programs, strategies and initiatives designed to strengthen marriages. The ministry provides resources to help couples preparing for marriage, to enrich the lives of married couples and to assist couples in crisis. Dunn oversees many of Focus’ key marriage events, including Date Night Challenge and Hearts Restored. Dunn speaks to singles and couples on a wide range of relationship topics. Specifically, he addresses issues couples face in dating, engaged, premarital and marriage relationships. He also helps military couples navigate the unique challenges they deal with.

He was formerly the director of University Ministries at the Center for Relationship Enrichment on the campus of John Brown University. In this position, he taught courses on relationships, oversaw a national student assessment, directed a national couples retreat program and helped develop a community premarital and marriage program.

He has spoken internationally to provide marriage enrichment for the U.S. military and leads retreats and seminars for churches and universities. He has also worked with businesses and corporations to help them understand why employee relational and emotional health is important and how healthy families and marriages impact the workplace.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies and a Master of Science in leadership and ethics from John Brown University. He and his wife, Krista, have two boys, Jack and Sam, and live in Colorado Springs, Colo.
