Parenting Today’s Teens offers biblical insights and practical wisdom for parents wanting a deeper relationship with their teens.

Mark Gregston has spent his entire adult life working with teens and parents, in an effort to offer help and hope to any situation a family might find themselves in. Mark spent years working with Young Life, was a youth pastor for several years, and lived at a Christian sports camp where he developed a home for struggling teens. Twenty-four years ago Mark and his wife Jan, headed back to Texas to start Heartlight, a residential counseling center for teens.

Through the years, Mark has lived with over 2,500 teens spending countless hours helping, talking, and connecting with teens while developing materials to help families help their child through their teen years. Dr. Tim Kimmel says of Mark, “Mark Gregston’s never met a teenager he can’t believe in or a parent he doesn’t want to help become better… he has a clear ‘big picture’ grasp of effective parenting. It’s formatted by the power of God’s grace and seasoned from decades of experience.”

From his 38 years of experience of working with teens and their families, Mark shares his insight and wisdom through books, seminars, retreats, and the Parenting Today’s Teens radio program. The daily radio program is heard on over 900 outlets, and the topical weekend program is heard on over 750 outlets throughout North America.

Mark’s wit and wisdom, shared through stories and reflections of his involvement with teens, brings biblical insight and practical help to all who hear him share his heart about families and teens. Lessons learned from those that have struggled with their teens are communicated through the mediums of the spoken and written word to parents preparing their child for the teen years or find themselves caught in the turbulent adolescent years with their teen.

Mark and his wife, Jan, have been married for 37 years and have two children, both of whom are married and have blessed them with three wonderful grandchildren. They also have one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, one dog, a few llamas, and way too many horses.
