CORE Christianity answers any and all questions about the Bible, theology, and matters of religion.
Hosted by Dr. Michael Horton and Adriel Sanchez, CORE Christianity exists to strengthen the faith of believers and help them understand what it means to be a follower of Christ, and to reach those who have tragically left their faith behind. Their message of hope encourages us to look up and to raise our eyes to the triune God who has rescued us.
Dr. Michael Horton is the J. Gresham Machen Professor of Systematic Theology and Apologetics at Westminster Seminary California where he’s taught since 1998. Michael is also the Editor-in-Chief of Modern Reformation magazine. He is the founder and host of the White Horse Inn weekly radio talk-show. His desire is that CORE Christianity will engage the listener in a discussion of what he considers to be the core message of Christianity—the gospel. He said,
“The best hope for Christians, and the Church, is the historic Christian faith, the gospel announcement of what God has done through Jesus Christ for the world. We want to share this message with listeners by providing great discussion, interaction, and content built around that core of Christianity.”
Before coming to Westminster Seminary California, Michael completed a research fellowship at Yale University Divinity School, and is a member of the American Academy of Religion and the Evangelical Theological Society. Michael Horton and his wife, Lisa, and their four children live in Escondido, California.
Adriel Sanchez is passionate about evangelizing to the millennial generation. He graduated from Westminster Seminary California with degrees in Biblical and Theological Studies, and in 2013, he planted North Park Presbyterian Church in San Diego.
Adriel regularly writes a blog focusing on the Christian life. He also helped create small group Bible Study curriculum for Core Christianity that can be used by churches, and has published articles in Modern Reformation magazine. He’s a frequent panelist on the White Horse Inn Podcast, discussing topics from culture, theology, and Christian living. Adriel and his wife, Ysabel, live in San Diego. They have three children and a fourth on the way!
