“The physical law of motion is that once something gets in motion it can gain speed over time so it depends on whether you’re going in a positive direction or negative direction.”

Jimmy Page shares how you can influence the relational and spiritual momentum in your life.

Ask yourself, am I moving away from God’s best for my life or am I moving towards it?

Momentum, good and bad alike, can be stopped. The smallest misstep in your walk with Christ can start the momentum going in a negative direction. In addition, the smallest step towards Christ can make all the difference, the same applies to relationships.

“What I realized was that if I don’t like the way a relationship is going, I can take action, I can change the spiritual and relational momentum, but I have to be intentional about it, and I have to make a play.”

On the football field, when the offense is storming down the field, someone on the defense has to step up, make a big play, and upset the momentum. The same is true for life.

“I realized that I had to be intentional and make a play and then start to make some consistent steps that would reverse the momentum and get us back on track.”

Is your life on the fast-track away from God? Take some time to ask God to help you make and play and turn things around.
