Every believer in history is a member of the “they” that Jesus refers to, and I Am They has a passion for living the unity that Jesus prayed for before His crucifixion.

Matt describes it as a cry for unity, sacrifice, and surrender. Their hope is to see the value of Christ rally around this cry of surrender and strength.
“It is an offering of our hearts and lives to God. It is saying, ‘God I trade who I am for who you are.’ It is proclaiming these deep truths of who God is over our lives and at the same time offering ourselves and putting ourselves on the altar and saying ‘God, take it all.’“
We can give our whole selves to God, knowing that He will redeem and restore everything in our lives for His glory.
