God’s power and presence can be seen and felt in every aspect of life. Susie and pastor Louie Giglio explore the Indescribable majesty of God and the importance of acknowledging God in everyday life.

Have you ever been so busy that you go days without slowing down? Are you moving so fast you fail to just be present with God?

To often we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of life that we go into autopilot mode, we don’t even think about God.

Embracing the fact that every breath we take is a miraculous gift from God is one of the greatest challenges of life. It is also one of the most profound and impacting habits that we can develop.

“It’s so easy for broken humanity to start thinking about temporal things that we see with our eyes and not to lean forward and see that in every single moment God is at work.”

Connection is key

We were never meant to live life without a close connection and awareness of God’s sustaining hand in our lives. No matter what is happening in our lives and regardless of how painful the circumstances might be, God is with us.

“You know, God put Joseph in a pit; his brothers didn’t put him in that pit, God did, because He had a plan to save an entire nation through him.”

Despite this knowledge that God uses unfortunate circumstances for good, we still resist them.

“What do we do, we despise the pit, we despise the dark place, and we curse the pit that we’re in.”

When we find ourselves in a dark valley, we need to remember that God is present with us in the pit. He has put us there for a reason and He will help us get back out of it. Experiencing hardship doesn’t indicate that God has abandoned us.

“In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.” Ecclesiastes 7:14

No matter where we find ourselves in life, whether we are at the pinnacle of happiness or in the depths of despair, God is there.

“God is real today, God is sovereign today, and He’s in charge of history.”

God is in charge of everything in the universe and we should wake up each day expecting to experience a miracle, because the fact that we have life is a miracle. God is always present with you; it’s up to us to acknowledge Him and ask Him to lead us.
