After seven years at baseball’s highest level, he felt it was time to retire so he could invest himself fully in his young family. But, after a time away from the game – and having earned his real estate license – a conversation with an old baseball friend sparked the sense that God was leading him back to the big leagues. And so Blaine Boyer set out on a one of a kind return journey to the big leagues that stretched from Japan to El Paso to San Diego, and finally to experiencing the greatest success of his career with the red hot Minnesota Twins.
