When we surrender something to Jesus, He uses it for His purposes. Listen as evangelist Nick Hall offers a powerful outline for how Jesus “resets” our lives.

Nick diagnoses the problem.

“We need a reset. All of us default back to comfort, back to safety, back to things that we can control and we think that’s where we’re going to find our power. We’re putting our trust in sinking sand.”

Here are some ways to pray:

Jesus, reset my faith.

Jesus, reset my relationship with my kids.

Jesus, reset my career.

Nick and Susie look at what “reset” actually means. The definition of a reset is an act to “get the system working for its created purpose. Just as we mess up those systems of technology, we mess up our lives. All of us need a reset. Jesus is the reset and Jesus changes everything.”

Reset is personal. Reset is a gathering.

How can we reset?

• Try a fast. Whether it’s a fast from technology, a fast from certain foods, or a fast from certain activities that you love, choosing to sacrifice in your own life brings to into a humble position before God.

• Move your quiet time to a different time of day.

• Pray through the Scriptures, emphasizing a different word each time you read.

• Reach out to different ministry leaders in your area and start praying together.

Nick urges us to start preparing our hearts for a 2016 gathering in Washington D.C. where believers will ask God to move in our nation. Christians from different denominations, ministries, and regions will stand shoulder to shoulder and focus on God and His purpose for His church.

“God is lining these things up… people need to have hope. He makes all things new.”
