What does it mean to PUSH through your prayers? Listen as Susie and pastor Jurgen Matthesius look at how to Pray Until Something Happens.

“When I got saved, my friend bought me a Bible. As I began to read the Bible, I began to see that… God was real. I had no idea that I could actually, tangibly, on a daily basis, experience God. I noticed that whenever I prayed, ‘coincidences’ happened. After I while, I realized – when I pray, things happen. What lies on the other side of prayer is the most magnificent Being in the universe. He is all around us but we don’t see Him. Prayer actually brings us through the veil and you begin to see Him.”

Jurgen and Susie explore

• The sovereignty of God in the context of prayer.
• How to submit to God and resist the devil in prayer.
• What a breakthrough looks like.
• What it means to pray in and with authority, in Jesus’ Name.

Jurgen says we can look at the Lord’s prayer as a model for powerful intercession.

“As soon as we acknowledge God and how holy He is, we say ‘Your kingdom come.’ We know in heaven God’s will happens. But here on earth, God’s will is resisted. The devil was cast to the earth… because all of a sudden it wasn’t God’s will that was paramount, it was his own will. So today he rages against the will of God. That’s why the world we live in, lives in chaos. If we as Christians step back into passivity, we’re not going to engage in warfare. That’s what he would love – an enemy that is no threat. But when we walk in prayer, in the Holy Spirit, we always push him back.”
