How can we learn to trust in God and grow in our faith year by year? Listen as guest host Bill Arnold talks with Larry Moody, president of Search Ministries, about his life, evangelism, and faith journey.

“How natural it is for us through natural relationships to share about the most intimate relationship we have? Many of us have lost our relationships with lost friends. Either because they’ve pulled away from us or often, we’ve pulled away from them. We’re so excited at the opportunity to grow and be nurtured in the Word… but God has… chosen to use you and me to share the Good News with others. We are His ambassadors and we are called to do that. “

Bill and Larry unpack several important truths in this conversation:

1. Live a life that demands explanation.

2. There are two reasons people don’t trust in Christ. They don’t know Christ-followers… or they do know Christ-followers.

3. There’s an eternity awaiting every person. Every one of us is terminal and we’re facing a Christ-filled or a Christ-less eternity.

4. There are three aspects to each person.

• Emotions
• Intellect
• Will

All three can be barriers to someone coming to know Christ. Larry urges us to pray and act according to the Holy Spirit’s leading. “They may be beyond our reach, but they’re not beyond His.”

5. Remember that “evangelism is leading people toward the cross.”

6. It’s not our job to convict others of sin; it’s our job to love them and pray for them.

7. Denominational differences can get in the way – fundamentally, a lost person needs to meet Jesus.

Larry calls us to examine the work and claims of Jesus.

“If He was God, He’s a person to be reckoned with. If not, you don’t have anything to worry about. But are you going to bet eternity on not having examined it at all?”
