What does it mean to be brave? What does it mean to do the hard, right, courageous thing? We take your calls and look at what it means to be a man or woman of valor with insights from Christine Caine, Eric Metaxas, Eric Ludy, and Stephen Mansfield.

In this program, we hear powerful stories of

•  Those working to free sexual slaves in America, Greece and Turkey.

•  Jackie Robinson and his battle to break the color barrier in professional baseball.

•  The character of Job and what made him a man of courage.

•  Abraham Lincoln’s search for spiritual truths and how his life reflected a love for God and justice.

What does valor mean?
It means acting in line with God’s will. Whether we’re working to end human trafficking, playing professional sports, praying and committed to avoiding lust, or running for president, doing what God calls us to do is a mark of valor.

Eric Ludy, author of , explains.

“We’ve lost the fight. We have the lamb-ness still to Christianity, but something has deteriorated in our day… We need the vigor, the boldness, the courage, the daring, the willingness to stand up and preach, to be undaunted. How dare we ever consider abridging the kingdom of heaven and the truth of our great God? That’s the bravehearted stuff. Christianity, when it is Christianity, leads to one of two things. It either completely reforms the culture in which it’s living, or crucifixion scenes begin to be freshly erected. We either change the world or we are killed by it. There is no middle ground; there is no friendship with the world. We are seeking to change it and to prepare the way for our great King.”
