How has God made a path in your circumstances today?

Susie talks with well-known Christian artists, including Jeremy Camp and Warren Barfield about how God’s faithfulness in our lives can lead to powerful worship through song.

Jeremy Camp shares how God made a way in his life after his wife, Melissa, died from cancer.

“We tried every holistic thing, we had every pastor we knew anoint her and lay hands on her… I remember being in the hospital the day she went to be with the Lord… I remember Him just speaking to my heart and saying ‘Jeremy, I want you to stand up and worship Me. I remember arguing and saying ‘no,’ and it wasn’t easy, but I remember I never felt the presence of God so thick in that room.” From that pain, Jeremy wrote the song “I Still Believe.”

Sometimes it can be hard to cling to hope in the face of a dying marriage… Warren Barfield knows what that feels like. He shares the inspiration behind the hit song featured in Fireproof, “Love is Not a Fight.”

“The Bible says that love does not keep a record of wrongs.. my wife and I had done a good job of keeping a detailed record of each other’s wrongs. One night a fight broke out.. and we said we were leaving each other; I think we were too arrogant to walk away, but I believe that God used our arrogance to keep us there. Eventually the fight ended and we sat down together and said ‘What now?’ We decided, ‘Let’s try to fight for each other as hard as we just fought against each other.'”
