Alveda King candidly shared her story of abortion here on Cradle My Heart Radio as we also discussed the issue of black genocide and her work on the Maafa 21 film and with the National Black Prolife Coalition. You likely have also seen her in one of her many media appearances on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, Huckabee, Beck, Hannity and other national and global media outlets. She is an articulate and passionate speaker who helps us understand the racist roots of abortion policy. And she is fearless in proclaiming God’s truth while helping us understand how to apply that truth to the complexities of abortion at the “personal policy” level–our choice.

As a “Guardian of the King Family Legacy,” niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and daughter to his brother Rev. A. D. Williams King, Alveda is a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a grateful mother and grandmother. She is a respected lecturer, former college professor, author, mentor, stage and screen actress, Georgia State Legislator and presidential appointee. Through her various ministries she is active writing, singing, song writing, producing and directing media projects.

We discussed her new book King Rules, which teaches the boundaries the family of the slain civil rights leader followed to overcome challenges and gain happiness in life.
