While flipping through the TV channels the other night, I landed on the Twins baseball game and within a matter of seconds I saw one of the rarest and prettiest plays in baseball – a triple play! From third to second to first; one pitch, 3 outs!

What makes this play so amazing is that on average, a Major League Baseball Team handles one double play per game making the odds of a triple play extremely high. So, what are the odds, you ask? They are more than 10,000 to 1. Infielders practice double plays incessantly in spring training and during the season; plus, over a lifetime those simple drills are rehearsed tens of thousands of times.

So, as I think about that triple play, it reminded me of how being faithful in the little things can open the door to the unexpected and dare I say, miraculous! Many of you know the old saying, ‘practice makes perfect.’ The Bible says that every Sabbath, Jesus was in His local tabernacle participating in worship and the study of His Father’s word. Week in and week out He faithfully showed up; participated fully and  then one day He stood in their midst and proclaimed:

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners.” Isaiah 61:1

That was it!  God’s perfect timing was in place and the world would never be the same again!

Perhaps you’ve listened to Faith Radio for years; week in and week out but then all of sudden it was the right message at the right moment and your life would never be the same!  Thank you for telling family and friends about this ministry.

Thanks also for your support.  Together we are making a difference for Christ and remember at the right moment God may break through.
