Thank you for your prayers during our first-ever Northwestern Christian Writers Conference! It was a hot day, but the excitement for learning and meeting new friends prevailed! I am so proud of our Faith Radio Team and how hard they worked to make this Conference happen! We also enjoyed the help and support from many of our University of Northwestern colleagues and friends! And of course, our deep appreciation to Liz Curtis Higgs, the teaching faculty and publishing friends who gave freely of their time, talent and expertise! Your prayers proved vital, thank you!
Faith 97.5FM is on the air in the Twin Cities! Coupled with Faith 90.7FM – this one-two punch is helping us reach many new friends in Minneapolis St. Paul who have never heard of or visited AM 900! To God be the glory!
Last but not least – as we were gearing up for the Conference, God provided a word of encouragement through the testimony of a young man who through his own admission had messed up several relationships and was essentially estranged from God. As he sat one evening in his car; alone and despondent he Googled – “God please help me and make yourself real again.” God used Google to direct him to Faith Radio, a station that he had never heard of, where he immediately began streaming Live the Promise with Susie Larson. Suffice it to say, God provided this new friend with the right message at the right moment to encourage him and to reveal Himself to this young man!
