It’s sad that it takes a holiday to remind us of ALL that we should be thankful for. For many of us this is the time of year that we really do stop and take stock of all that God has done for us and we are grateful. Gratitude is certainly at its highest form of Christ-likeness when expressed versus “feelings” of gratitude. I often say that it is one thing to be thankful but a much better thing to actually give thanks.

Obviously, we are grateful to God for His love; for Jesus and the free gift of God’s salvation, grace and forgiveness found in Jesus. But as the book of James points out, every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.   And those more perfect gifts certainly includes our families, church family, job and the list goes on and on from there.

Let me take this opportunity to express my thanks to you for listening! Without you there is no need for Faith Radio. And let me go a step further – thank you for praying and supporting this ministry!  Your prayerful partnership keeps this ministry going and growing.  God bless you!

Happy Thanksgiving and may our giving of thanks go well beyond this great month!
