Do you have a dream that is seemingly impossible on your own and is not one you could have dreamed yourself?

Luke Barnett says you may have a God-sized dream. He shares three things that can help us through when we wait for our God-sized dream to be realized.

The first step is to have a plan of how you see your God-sized dream coming to fruition.

“It’s so important that you get a plan. We often associate planning with a lack of spirituality. However, the Bible says that good planning and hard work actually lead to prosperity (Proverbs 21:5). The future really belongs to the person who plans for it. A good solid plan will carry you through during those times when it feels like you’re spinning your wheels a little bit.”

The second step is to find promises in the Bible and personalize them for yourself.

“You have to grab a hold of some promises. In the Bible there are anywhere between 1,500 and 2,000 promises. These are like blank checks from God. I always tell people to grab a hold of some of those promises, memorize them, and make them your personal promises. Use them to encourage you through the years when you seem to be slowing down.”

The third step is to have people to help you.

“You need people to help you reach your dreams. We all know that when you receive a God-sized dream it’s always bigger then you. There’s no way you can accomplish it on your own. If you can, then it’s not a God-sized dream, it’s a man-sized dream. I always say, if it’s a God-sized dream it’s bigger than you, and if it comes to pass, it’s so big that everyone will know that God was responsible for it because there’s no way you could do it, so God gets all the glory.”

If you can develop a plan for your dream, hold onto God’s promises, and build your dream team around you, Luke says you’re well on your way to realizing your God-sized dream.
