Far East Broadcasting Company has been sharing the Gospel through radio across the Asia-Pacific region for decades. FEBC’s President Ed Cannon joins us to share the stories of lives changed on this latest edition of Connecting Faith.

In addition we hear from campus ministry leader and apologist Rick Mattson on ways to engage in spiritual conversations here at home. He shares ideas from his book Faith is like Skydiving. Listen for helpful, effective ways to share the gospel.

Ed Cannon gives us an overview on the Far East Broadcasting Company’s efforts to bring the Gospel to Asia. He explains how shortwave radio can reach out across thousands of miles to touch lives.

With this incredible opportunity comes unique challenges. Ed explains how FEBC crafts the language in which they share the Gospel so as to be relevant to the backgrounds of those who are often hearing the message of Jesus for the first time.

We also hear of a tremendous opportunity to partner with FEBC in reaching people through shortwave radios.

Then we welcome Rick Mattson for the second portion of our show. Rick believes that God is always there for us. He’s waiting for us to meet Him. We discuss sharing the Gospel in fresh ways.

He talks about witnessing through the prism of detective work. We can ask ourselves how God is involved in a person’s life & where the avenue is to enter into it in a meaningful fashion. Sometimes it’s a process that requires courage and taking a risk.

We know that God is in control, and that it’s ultimately up to Him how His message spreads in our world. Yet He’s chosen us to work alongside Him, so what really is our responsibility as Christians in sharing Jesus’ message?
