What does it mean for God to be “awakening” hearts all over the world? Evangelist Matt Brown has seen this firsthand. Listen as he joins guest host Bill Arnold in studio to share what the Holy Spirit does to bring someone to faith in Christ.

Matt’s message is simple but powerful – God is moving. Whether it’s a homeless ministry in San Francisco, a mega-church in South Korea, or a church in Bogota Colombia that has a weekly youth group of 70,000 teens, the Holy Spirit is changing hearts in every culture. The connectedness of our world allows us to see these through the internet, text messages, and even in person. When we hear stories of redemption and repentance, it strengthens our own faith.

Matt shares stories from

• South Korea
• The United States
• China

How can we know whether or not a revival is genuine? Matt shares some wisdom.

“It’s all about Jesus and lifting Him up, rather than a person or a revival leader. Leaders are too focused on being up front or distinctive things in Scripture – miracles, healing, too focused on stuff besides the gospel.”

Matt urges us to look at our families and neighborhoods and ask what God is doing. Don’t feel threatened or bitter if another ministry in your area is bearing more fruit.

“Get excited about what God is doing – this is your team. This is not about being bigger and better but about Christ being known. We need to share an excitement for the things of God.”

Matt’s new book is Awakening.
