We often ask the question, what would Jesus do? But an equally important question is, when you examine your life, what would Jesus UN-do? If the Savior Himself walked into your living room, what would He set about changing? Michael Boggs joins us to unpack that. His new book is  .

Michael and Susie unpack several things that Jesus would undo:

• Walls

“I started reading through the Scripture to see what walls Jesus would undo and landed in Matthew 21, one of the most dramatic passages of Jesus doing something – that’s when Jesus turns over tables and starts chasing money changers out. And He sets up church – He invites the broken in, and Jesus has church and people get healed.” Michael calls us to break down walls between denominations, ethnic groups, generations, and political persuasions.

• Empty worship

• Pride

• Hypocrisy

• Denominational differences

“I can see Jesus undoing [denominational divisions] as we speak.” Michael points out that there is a place for denominations in the body of Christ, but the key is to disagree with love and humility, because human anger does not lead to the righteousness of God. If we start to divide into “us” and “them,” we’ve come to a place of hardheartedness instead of loving disagreement.

Michael says it all starts with a prayer – Lord, work in me first.

“The hardest thing to do is to look inside ourselves and say ‘Jesus, what would You undo in me?’ Writing this book I felt like I had to ask Jesus… there’s so much that God wants to undo in me. If we can just start there, that’s the first step. My guess is that Jesus wants to start undoing things in us before He wants us to join in the work of undoing things in others.”
