Jennifer Loop has an amazing story of recovery and redemption to share that gives hope and inspiration.

Her journey started at a young age, and she had a long and bumpy road before she found recovery. At just 9 years old, Jennifer had experienced sexual abuse and began looking for change from substances. By 16, she was abusing hard substances and living with men twice her age. Eventually she developed an abusive relationship with food, becoming severely anorexic. Even after she found love and recovery her story wasn’t over as she experienced a relapse later in life.

But God had a plan, and Jennifer has found love, recovery, and redemption in her life; and now she works to help others in the recovery process. She is the training coach and small group leader for Celebrate Recovery at Elmbrook, and she shares her inspirational story with us tonight on Real Recovery.

Tonight’s Step: Step One

Admit that you are powerless to overcome your addictions and that your life has become unmanageable. Along with being powerless over addictions, we are powerless over everything, really. Every moment is a gift from God, and we rely on Him to give us every day and every breath.
