Sandy Arena is a woman on a mission to honor as many individual children lost to abortion as possible.

One of the ways she does that is listing over 500 names in the credits of Arise Sweet Sara a new film “for the children who never had the chance to dance.”

Sandy’s mission in born out of her own pain after abortion. Like many women, Sandy says the pain got worse, not better when she returned to church. Because of the difficulties surrounding telling our stories in church and elsewhere, she used her artistic talents to craft the Life Ballet which provided live performances depicting the journey to abortion and reconciliation.

Out of her faithfulness, God provided an unusual opportunity for Sandy to be more direct in sharing her story. And over time The Life Ballet toured in several states and served as the inspiration for John Elefante’s video This Time, for which Sandy also served as a consultant.
