Catherine Davis is a community activist and human resources professional who has a heart for black women and families.

Her message is that public health statistics prove abortion is disproportionately impacting women of color; most especially black women.

Catherine has spoken out about the racist roots of Planned Parenthood and their efforts to target black women, garnering front-page coverage in the New York Times.

She is an influential voice in matters of policy and public opinion, unafraid of tackling the push-back from other African-Americans who refuse to acknowledge the problem of abortion among black women.

Catherine’s voice is grounded in faith and seasoned with God’s truth.

We talked with her and got the latest news on what she’s been up to, as well as an update on one of the organizations she serves at the  National Black Prolife Coalition. You can find the video of a CNN debate between Catherine and a rep from Rev. Al Sharpton’s organization on this website: Could Have Been Me.

Catherine also shared some startling and irrefutable facts and stories, such as how many aborted babies are of color, how the Planned Parenthood started, and her own personal story which you can hear in our podcast.

From Catherine’s bio:

Catherine Davis works in an ongoing effort to educate Americans about the holocaustic impact abortion has had on the Black community. A founding member of the National Black Prolife Coalition, Catherine formed her own organization, The Restoration Project, in 2011 to advocate for the cause of life and family. Catherine, a public speaker and civil rights champion, is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Tufts University and attended the University of Bridgeport School of Law.

Early in 2010, Catherine partnered with The Radiance Foundation to launch one of the most news-generating ProLife campaigns ever, the “Endangered Species” billboard / web campaign. She has been featured in numerous TV, radio and newspaper media including The NY Times, LA Times, CNN, MSNBC, ABC World News, NPR and throughout the entire blogosphere. She believes in holding public officials accountable and legislatively chipping away at the unconstitutional scourge that is Roe v. Wade.

Catherine is determined to expose the willful destruction of life by Planned Parenthood. Her combined education and experience have put her at the forefront of the abortion struggle. She is focused on positive change through education, local/state involvement, and peaceful action.
