Susie chats with Bill Arnold and George Fraser about their new Faith Radio show, Real Recovery. The show shares stories of redemption and restoration, stories like Chrissy Toledo’s.

Chrissy is the daughter of the pastor of Brooklyn Tabernacle. As a young adult she had turned her back on God and turned to a lifestyle of addiction. She had a child while she was young and had abandon the church.

One night a member of a prayer meeting that met at the Brooklyn Tabernacle brought up a note to her father saying that they needed to pray for her that night. Her father felt the calling of the Holy Spirit and the men and women began to earnestly go before God for Chrissy.

Chrissy was at a friend’s house that night. She was laying in a bed by herself and her daughter was in a crib. Something light came in and it seemed to her that this lightness stood at the right side of the bed.  Something dark and hideous looking came in and was at the other side of the bed.

The dark thing pointed at Chrissy and said, “I have her life and I’m going to take her’s too,” pointing to her daughter.

Chrissy went to sleep, but when she woke up the next morning she could tell something was different about herself. She asked the girl she was staying with if they could pray. In this prayer she led asked God to release her from the lifestyle she was living. She called out for restoration and recovery.

She took her daughter, went home to her family and apologized to them.
