Trans World Radio Signs on New Transmitter

GUAM (FR) -Trans World Radio has dedicated a new 250,000 watt transmitter on the island of Guam. TWR’s President Lauren Libby says, “The new digital technology will allow the ministry to broadcast a new signal into China and much of Asia. Digital shortwave capability will enable TWR to reach both rural areas and large cities with a strong signal. The equipment upgrade was made possible by gifts from individuals as well as Christian radio fundraisers at KTIS in St. Paul, Minnesota, Moody Radio in Chicago, Illinois and KCBI in Dallas, Texas.
